Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate in-home support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. This part-time role offers the potential for up to 40 hours per week and weekly pay starting at $18.00–$19.00 per hour.

Flexible scheduling and supportive supervision are available in several Pittsburgh-area locations. You'll assist with personal care, accompany clients to appointments, support hobbies, help with meals, and

Qualifications

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; training available through apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on client hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Education

One year experience working with I/DD individuals

Job Responsibilities for DSPs

• You will provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming)

• You will assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• You will participate in community integration activities

Qualifications for DSPs:

• One year experience working with I/DD individuals; If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program
• High school diploma or equivalent
