Job summary

The Arizona Department of Economic Security (DES) in Phoenix is hiring a Network Coordinator to oversee provider recruitment, certification, and placement coordination within the Division of Developmental Disabilities. You will ensure compliance with billing protocols and service standards while supporting member transitions.

Responsibilities include data tracking, incident monitoring, and collaboration with Support Coordinators.

Qualifications

• Oral communication skills for meetings, policy briefs, and orientation sessions.
• Clear writing of placement requests, investigation reports, and notices.
• Active listening to gather member, family, and provider details.
• Reading and interpreting statutes, policies, contracts, ISP documents.
• Service orientation to help members access community resources.
• Critical thinking to evaluate barriers and billing issues.
• Complex problem solving for emergencies and roommate matching.
• Coordination across DCS, OLCR, Support Coordination, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, certify, train, and oversee Independent Providers; manage certification renewal timelines.
• Coordinate out-of-home placements, public vendor calls, emergency placements, and rate alignment.
• Provide technical guidance on progress reporting, billing protocols, and file requirements.
• Audit timesheets and billing; resolve errors and mediate disputes.
• Maintain provider files; conduct training; handle amendments and closures.
• Partner with Support Coordinators to identify vendor options and arrange meetings.
• Track incidents; draft UIR summaries; follow up on high-risk cases.
• Lead provider orientation and ISP reviews; evaluate service outcomes.
• Maintain vacancy and waitlist databases; monitor service gaps and census reports.
