Job summary

Newport Restaurant Group is hiring Line Cooks for the 2027 summer season in Warwick, RI and nearby locations. This is a seasonal, in-country opportunity with housing provided within 2 miles of work and transportation assistance available.

Expect fast-paced kitchen work, precise prep, and collaboration with an experienced culinary team. You’ll prepare soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts to restaurant standards, ensure timely orders, and help maintain a clean workstation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of line cook experience.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and move 25–50 pounds.
• Be collaborative, using a team approach to creating an equitable workplace environment and have respectful working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items to restaurant standards
• Make sure food orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly, checking the status of orders as they move through service

WHAT YOU’LL DO

No two days are exactly the same, but here’s the heart of the role:

You’ll report directly to the Executive Chef at your assigned restaurant.
