Job summary

CooperSurgical is seeking a driven sales professional to cover a defined territory in the United States. You will make calls to surgeons, OR managers, and nursing leadership, promoting CooperSurgical products and their benefits.

You will plan and execute a sales strategy, compile regular reports, and complete trainings to maintain certification and product knowledge. Willingness to travel and work independently is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 1–3 years of documented and verifiable sales experience, preferably within the hospital/OR environment.
• Documented ability to grow sales in previous positions.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Make sales calls to surgeons of various specialties, operating room management, nursing, and administration.
• Communicate to these professionals the benefits of using CooperSurgical products in their surgical practice and/or operating room.
• Compile weekly and monthly sales and activity reports and submit them to the Regional Manager in a timely manner.
• Plan and execute a sales plan to achieve sales and business goals within the assigned territory.
• Complete product and surgical application training requirements, pass all exams, and demonstrate competency in product use, assembly, and maintenance to Training and Sales Management.
• Maintain up-to-date certification in Operating Room Protocol for Health Care Representatives, Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens, and HIPAA regulations as directed, and keep medical documentation and a health profile that meets customer requirements.
• Be willing to travel and work independently, including overnight stays, as necessary within the territory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
