Job summary

YMCA of Greater Brandywine seeks a Gymnastics and Tumbling Instructor to teach children of various ages and skill levels. Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate classes focusing on strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and fundamental gymnastics skills.

You will provide safe instruction, encourage progression, and foster a positive learning environment. Requirements include 16+ years old with a HS diploma or GED and at least 1 year of teaching experience.

Qualifications

• 16 years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1-year prior teaching or instructional experience.
• Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead activities, routines, and/or games for all participants.
• Lead with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
• Organize and maintain program records (attendance, rosters, etc.).
• Promote other YMCA programs and ensure safety and compliance.
