Job summary

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is seeking a dedicated Program Assistant to plan, organize, and deliver value-driven skill development activities for participants in alignment with YMCA goals. You will lead with enthusiasm, supervise activities, and ensure a safe, clean environment for all attendees.

Responsibilities include supervising games, promoting YMCA programs, ensuring proper pickup, and adhering to all policies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills.
• Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs.
• Obtain and maintain new hire certifications within 90 days of hire.

• Assists with specific activities, routines and/or games for all participants.
• Leads with enthusiasm and positive motivation in program.
• Manage all equipment to ensure safety.
• Maintains a clean and risk-free environment.
• Ensures all children are picked up by a parent.
• Promotes other YMCA programs by handing out brochures or referrals.
• Ensures compliance with all YGBW policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
