Crunch Fitness - Fit Fusion in Grand Rapids, MI seeks an Assistant General Manager to partner with the General Manager to oversee daily gym operations and supervise the MSR team, delivering an exceptional member experience in line with Crunch brand standards. You will recruit, train, and lead staff, monitor KPI performance, and manage scheduling, member services, and outreach to grow new member sales.

The role includes front desk and Kids Crunch supervision, facility upkeep, and cross-team

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fitness facility and/or customer service-oriented management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high performing team to maintain staffing levels.
• Monitor and scoreboard staff performance to meet KPI standards.
• Lead by example to achieve personal and team performance targets.
• Manage team performance with ongoing development, training, and coaching.
• Support the General Manager in scheduling and labor management, member service resolution, and issue escalation.
• Lead generation and outreach to drive new member sales.
• New member acquisition and integration into all services and programs.
• Set team goals and hold regular staff meetings.
• Oversee club assets, inventory reconciliation, supplies, and small equipment expenditures.
• Supervise front desk and Kids Crunch activities; maintain clean facilities and equipment.
