Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners is hiring an Assistant Club Manager to lead front-desk and staff activities at a Planet Fitness location. You will recruit, train, and support staff while ensuring a welcoming environment for members and guests. You’ll assist with reports, inventory, and daily operations.

The role requires overnight availability and compliance with safety procedures, with a strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in a fitness or Planet Fitness environment is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and problem-resolution abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff.
• Lead by example to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all members.
• Resolve member concerns in a fair and timely manner.
• Support Club Manager with reporting, inventory, and duties.
• Enforce company policies with staff and members.
• Attend to front desk tasks: answering phones, sign-ups, and tours.
