Job summary

Houston Fitness Partners is seeking a Club Manager for a Planet Fitness location. The role focuses on staffing, training, and leading a high-performing team to deliver a welcoming, customer-focused experience for all members and guests.

You will oversee front-d desk operations, payroll, and scheduling, while maintaining club safety and cleanliness. Eligible benefits include health coverage, retirement, and growth opportunities within the franchise.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willing to become CPR/AED Certified prior to gaining employment and maintain your certification while employed.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and develop a high performing staff.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests and ensure excellent customer service.
• Oversee payroll and scheduling to keep the club adequately staffed.
• Address issues with employees and members in a timely, respectful manner.
• Handle front desk activities including phone inquiries and member sign-ups.
• Ensure opening/closing of the gym follows proper protocols.
• Supervise cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Oversee safety of employees, members and club property.
