Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) to lead daily operations, coach staff, and drive member growth at our Florida club. You will model service excellence, manage schedules and payroll, and ensure maintenance and compliance across all front-line activities.

The AGM will partner with the General Manager to execute sales strategies, train front desk teams, and enhance member retention while delivering a high-quality fitness experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a management or leadership role within fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
• Strong ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to drive sales, service, and operations.
• Proven problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills for escalated member and team concerns.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold customer service standards for an exceptional member experience.
• Train and develop team members to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
• Support membership sales growth and personal training revenue through effective strategies.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new staff.
• Oversee daily gym operations and act as primary leader when the GM is unavailable.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and maintenance through regular inspections and work orders.
• Monitor cash handling, deposits, and daily money reconciliation.
• Utilize CRM to maintain member engagement and retention and track performance metrics.
• Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and community engagement to boost participation.
