Job summary

YouFit Gyms is seeking an Assistant General Manager to lead daily operations, mentor staff, and drive member engagement and growth. The AGM ensures service excellence and adherence to YouFit standards while supporting a high-performing team.

In this role, you’ll manage operations in the General Manager's absence, oversee staffing and maintenance, and help execute sales strategies and personal training initiatives. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of management or leadership experience in fitness, hospitality, sales, or customer service.
• Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team to drive sales, service, and operations.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills for escalated issues.
• Proficient in English; multiple language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example to uphold customer service standards and exceptional member experiences.
• Train and develop team members to meet sales, service, and operational goals.
• Support membership sales and personal training growth through effective strategies.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
• Oversee daily gym operations when the General Manager is unavailable.
• Manage facility cleanliness and maintenance, including inspections and work orders.
• Monitor cash handling, daily reconciliations, and deposits tracking.
• Use CRM to maintain member engagement, retention, and performance metrics.
• Ensure policy compliance and accurate records across operations.
• Support marketing, promotions, and community engagement to boost participation.
