Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a General Manager in Signal Mountain, TN to lead a high-performing club team and deliver top-quality member experiences. You will manage staff development, customer service, and local operations to drive membership growth and store profitability.

The role requires up to 25% travel, a 4-year degree, and a focus on community relations and brand standards. Weekend availability may be needed and you will report to the Regional Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and staff development experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to drive customer experience and loyalty.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, train, and develop staff at all levels.
• Support peers and other GMs to promote growth and teamwork.
• Address club and online issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, friendly, and well-maintained environment.
• Ensure staff is trained on Ignite Fitness & PFHQ initiatives.
• Drive revenue growth through memberships, EFT, and retail.
• Lead local community engagement and partnership development.
• Set and track key operational metrics for performance.
• Ensure policy and procedure compliance and confidentiality.
• Monitor payroll, scheduling, and staffing within budget.
• Uphold PFHQ and Ignite Fitness brand standards.
