Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a General Manager in Myers, TN to lead a high- performing club team and drive membership and revenue growth. You will oversee daily operations, training, and staff development while ensuring a premier member experience and brand standards.

The role emphasizes leadership, financial results, and community partnerships, with travel to support multi-location initiatives and adherence to PFHQ Ignite Fitness standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing a team in a high-volume environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in management preferred; high school diploma required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) and basic technology.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, lead, manage, communicate, train and develop staff including Assistant Manager and front desk staff.
• Drive club revenue growth and profitability through membership, EFT, and retail sales.
• Maintain clean, welcoming club environment and exceptional customer service.
• Develop partnerships in the community and represent Planet Fitness in local events.
• Monitor key operational metrics and ensure budgeted hours and staffing are appropriate.
• Payroll and scheduling management within budget; oversee confidentiality and adherence to policies.
