Job summary

Workout Anytime Franchising Systems, LLC is seeking a Front Desk Coach/Receptionist to warmly greet members and guests, verify check-in, and keep the front desk area clean and organized during all shifts.

You will answer phones professionally, assist members with membership options, process sales, and support daily operations while contributing to a friendly, fitness-focused culture across our Illinois locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and members.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests warmly and direct them as they enter the gym.
• Check members in using standard procedures.
• Register guests and provide gym tours or answer questions about memberships.
• Assist guests with purchasing memberships and upsell when appropriate.
• Answer phones professionally and greet visitors.
• Process retail and concession sales.
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front desk area.

Position Overview

The Front Desk Coach /Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym, provide control of the front door location, and daily cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
• Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures
• Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
• Provides new guests with a tour of the gym and helps answer questions about current membership options
• Assists guests with purchasing a new membership
• Answers phone in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques
• Processes retail and concession sales
• Cleans and maintains the front desk area
