Job summary

Workout Anytime Franchising Systems, LLC is seeking a Front Desk/Receptionist for our gym location. You will greet members and guests, check them in, register guests, and provide tours while answering questions about memberships.

You will also handle phone inquiries, assist with retail sales, and keep the front desk clean and inviting, contributing to a fitness-minded workplace culture with advancement opportunities.

• Ability to communicate effectively with both staff and members.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Greets members, guests and staff with a friendly, time-appropriate greeting.
• Check-ins for members using proper procedures.
• Register guests and provide gym tours and answer questions about memberships.
• Assist guests with purchasing memberships.
• Answer phones professionally and process retail and concession sales.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk area.

The Front Desk/Receptionist will greet and direct members, guests and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location.

Responsibilities

• Enthusiastically greets each member and guest promptly using the proper greeting for time of day to create a friendly positive entrance and departure to and from the gym
• Personally checks each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures
• Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures
• Provides new guests with a tour of the gym and helps answer questions about current membership options
• Assists guests with purchasing a new membership
• Answers phone in a professional and courteous manner and uses proper phone greeting techniques
• Processes retail and concession sales
• Cleans and maintains the front desk area
