Job summary

Qualifications

• Superior customer service skills.
• Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness.
• Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
• Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
• Strong problem resolution skills.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Must be 18 year of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training staff across Member Service, Trainers and Custodians.
• Maintain a welcoming atmosphere and ensure staff follow superior customer service guidelines.
• Support staff management and back-up Club Manager as needed.
• Schedule and supervise staff.
• Oversee member service to ensure superior customer experience.
• Resolve or escalate employee issues.
• Handle front desk tasks: answer phones and assist callers.
• Check members in using the system.
• Sign up new members.
• Give tours to prospective members.
• Facilitate member requests and questions.
• Assist with cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
• Assist in ordering supplies within budget.
• Track weekly/monthly/annual statistics and reports.
• Provide backup coverage for absent employees.
