Job summary

WSP is seeking a Natural Resources Consultant to join the Texas & Louisiana region. You will support environmental permitting, ecological assessments, and field investigations across energy, infrastructure, and land development projects.

You will collaborate with scientists, planners, engineers, and environmental professionals to navigate regulatory requirements and promote responsible resource management. Travel to field sites will be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field and 3–5 years’ experience in natural resources projects.
• Experience conducting field surveys and environmental assessments.
• Knowledge of wetland regulations, endangered species considerations, and permitting requirements.
• Familiarity with energy, infrastructure, or industrial development projects.

Responsibilities

• Support natural resources and environmental permitting projects to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct field investigations, ecological assessments, and habitat evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, permit applications, and agency coordination materials.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance.
• Maintain field records, GIS data, and project documentation.
