Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Natural Resources Consultant to support the Texas & Louisiana region within the Earth & Environment Team. The role focuses on natural resources, ecological assessments, and environmental permitting across energy, infrastructure, and development projects.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in natural resources, field surveys, and permitting, with GIS and MS Office proficiency. Travel to Gulf South sites and fieldwork are expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resources Management, Biology or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in natural resources, ecological consulting, or permitting.
• Experience with environmental field surveys and resource assessments.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental permitting projects and generate high-quality deliverables.
• Conduct field investigations, biological assessments, and habitat evaluations.
• Evaluate potential environmental impacts to wetlands and wildlife habitat.
• Prepare reports, permit applications, and regulatory coordination materials.
• Assist with federal, state, and local permitting efforts and agency liaison work.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address environmental constraints.
