Job summary

A&R Group is seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead 8–12 branded hotels across Gulf Shores, AL and Southwest Florida. You will coach General Managers, drive brand standards, and oversee financial performance from budgeting to profitability.

Based in Gulf Shores, you’ll focus on talent development, operational readiness for new openings, and delivering strong guest experiences while coordinating travel to multiple properties in the region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel operations experience, including 3+ years as a Hotel General Manager.
• Branded hotel experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, and/or Hyatt.
• Proven P&L ownership, budgeting, and cost control, with a track record of beating budget.
• Strong knowledge of revenue management and STR/CoStar market share reporting.
• Excellent coaching, training, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel overnight periodically to hotels in Southwest Florida and surrounding markets.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise, coach, and develop 8–12 General Managers and set clear goals.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and transition GMs in partnership with Human Resources.
• Lead opening and readiness for new Hyatt Studios Venice, FL facility.
• Ensure brand standards, policy compliance, and SOP adherence across all hotels.
• Develop and monitor annual business plans, budgets, and financial performance.
• Partner with revenue management on pricing strategies and market share growth.
