Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing using Guidewire. You will align scripts with acceptance criteria, execute tests, log defects with detailed repro steps, and support defect triage.

Strong CI/CD and Git/JIRA skills are essential. Ideal candidates have 13+ years Guidewire experience, 2+ years in policy center projects, and proficiency in API testing tools such as Karate, Postman

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in Guidewire functional and automation testing.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Guidewire policy center projects.
• Hands-on Programming-based Test Automation and Test Design for 2+ years.
• Experience with Git Repository and debugging test code issues.
• Familiarity with QA lifecycle tools (HP ALM, JIRA).
• Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
• Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; knowledge of CI/CD.
• Experience with API testing tools like Karate, Postman or RestAssured.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API and integration testing.
• Align tests with acceptance criteria and user stories.
• Execute automated tests, log defects with reproduction steps, support triage.
• Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
• Identify reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
• Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain assets.
• Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues.
• Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
• Prepare and maintain RTM; support manual testing when required.
• Track and report QA metrics such as defect rates and coverage.
