Job summary

ValueMomentum is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer - Guidewire Automation Tester with GT UI & API automation framework experience. The role requires 5+ years of overall work experience, including 3-4 years in Guidewire Claim Center implementation testing and strong automation across UI and API layers.

Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements, participate in requirements analysis, and provide testability feedback; prepare automation test strategy/approach, design automation scripts, and execution plan.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain UI and API automation frameworks.
• Follow Guidewire standards and automate UI and API test cases using GT framework.
• Perform automation script failure analysis, identify root cause, fix scripts, and re-execute.
• Attend Scrum ceremonies and provide automation updates to client stakeholders.
• Automate Smoke, Functional, End-to-End, and Regression tests; integrate into CI/CD pipeline.
• Perform end-to-end testing across integrated systems validating business workflows and data flows.
• Validate API integrations and data flows using REST/SOAP; use API testing tools.
• Peer-review automation scripts and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Execute automation and achieve first-time pass; track defects and close them.
• Create dashboards/reports in Jira/ADO/ALM/qTest; publish to leadership.
• Collaborate with developers, domain leads, and client teams; track automation metrics.
