Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Roswell, NM is seeking a diligent Room Attendant to maintain clean guestrooms and provide attentive service to guests. You will thoroughly clean rooms, restock supplies, and ensure hallways and public areas stay neat and vacuumed, while reporting maintenance and missing items to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Prepare rooms with supplies and linen for housekeeping.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle lost and found items per standards.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
