Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms while delivering attentive, courteous, and efficient service to all guests at Courtyard Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA. This hourly role emphasizes thorough cleaning, supply management, and seamless teamwork with the housekeeping staff.

Responsibilities include stocking carts, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel or related field experience preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Prepare guestrooms by stocking supplies and linen for housekeeping cart.
• Remove trash and used linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cart for the next day.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs promptly to supervisor/manager.
• Assist with Lost and Found items per standards.
• Aim to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
