Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Woodbridge, VA seeks a House Attendant to maintain cleanliness of assigned areas and assist with guest services, including delivering items to guestrooms. This on-site hourly position is based at Residence Inn Potomac Mills.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and excellent communication with guests and teammates. Benefits and opportunities accompany this hospitality role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Ability to stand during the entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Buff marble floors daily according to hotel standards.
• Shampoo carpets in public areas and furniture as needed.
• Assist with luggage requests in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Handle Lost and Found items per hotel standards.
• Clean guestrooms as needed.
• Know and assist in emergency procedures.
• Maintain hotel equipment in working order.
• Store hotel equipment properly.
• Complete special projects from the Housekeeping Manager.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
