Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant at the Residence Inn Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA. You will maintain clean and attractive guestrooms, providing attentive and courteous service to all guests while supporting overall hotel cleanliness and organization.

The role involves physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting, and restocking carts. It offers full-time benefits and an hourly compensation structure aligned with hospitality industry standards in the area.

Qualifications

• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication with guests and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from room to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report any maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
