Job summary

AEG Presents Great Lakes is seeking a Guest Services Staff member (Usher/Ticket Taker) for Royal Oak Music Theater. You will be the first point of contact for guests inside the venue, ensuring a safe, friendly, and efficient experience.

You will scan tickets, manage coat checks, assist ADA patrons, and enforce venue policies while maintaining a positive guest experience through fast-paced events and varied hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalency required.
• Previous experience preferred but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and regular attendance.
• Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to de-escalate tense situations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions and direct guests to venues areas.
• Operate coat check rooms per guidelines.
• Scan tickets and administer wristbands for entry.
• Greet guests and address complaints or concerns.
• Seat guests and assist ADA patrons.
• Enforce venue policies and complete trainings.
• Assist during emergencies and evacuations.
• Monitor guest arrival/exits for safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
