Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Customer Service team member in a fast-paced retail environment. You will assist customers with transactions, licenses, money orders, and mail services while delivering a friendly shopping experience.

A team-focused, reliable individual who can multi-task under pressure is valued here. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, supporting store operations, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 6 months to 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic and handle multiple transactions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service by greeting customers and making interactions positive.
• Weigh packages, process mail, and handle money orders, checks, and licenses.
• Assist customers with Western Union, money orders, and cash payroll.
• Help customers at registers and with store services to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow Hy-Vee policies.
• Answer phones and operate intercom systems per procedures.
