Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of assigned Guest Services shift to ensure program effectiveness and customer service quality.
• Selects, trains, schedules, motivates, supervises, and evaluates employees, and provides feedback and recognition.
• Anticipates customer needs and tailors responses in a culturally competent manner.
• Prepares reports on staff productivity, program needs, and activities; maintains productivity data in spreadsheets/databases.
• Prepares shift turnover reports with relevant information for the next shift.
• Analyzes job design, daily assignments, workflows, and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stays updated on trends in Guest Services by attending seminars and reading professional journals.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable rules and guidelines; promotes adherence and proper understanding across health plans.
• Serves as a back-up for all Guest Services shifts to ensure continuous service during operating hours.
