Job summary

The Westin Edina Galleria in Edina, MN is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to lead the front desk team and uphold the hotel’s service standards. You will train colleagues, solve guest issues, and ensure a memorable stay through proactive problem solving and teamwork.

You will oversee check-in/check-out, maintain guest history data, and coordinate with departments to deliver exceptional service. A background in hospitality and strong English communication are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in a Guest Services position with a full-service hotel.
• Must have High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to work with detail, speed and accuracy, and resolve problems calmly.
• Strong teamwork and communication in English; ability to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and leadership to the Guest Services team to ensure consistent quality of guest service in line with hotel standards.
• Observe performance and encourage improvement.
• Resolve guest complaints by researching situations and applying effective solutions.
• Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and communicate information to staff to ensure high service levels.
• Authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems when alternatives have been offered.
