Job summary

Quality Inn Slick Rock – Moab, managed by Western States Lodging & Management, seeks a Guest Services Representative to welcome guests and create a memorable arrival.

You’ll handle check-ins, answer questions, and provide information on amenities, promotions, and local attractions, while maintaining a clean front desk. This role offers competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities in hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 0–1 year of experience in hospitality or customer service is acceptable.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, professional communication style.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Assist guests with check-in/check-out, register guests, assign rooms, issue keys, and process payments.
• Accommodate special requests to create a personalized guest experience.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions promptly.
• Provide information about hotel amenities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
• Assist with pre-registration and reservation blocking when needed.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Follow cash handling, credit, and check-cashing policies.
• Complete daily front desk checklists and responsibilities.
• Audit group guest accounts for accuracy of charges.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk and lobby area.
• Stay knowledgeable about brand standards and promotions.
