Job summary

Melrosehoteldc is seeking a Front Desk Agent for Home2 Suites Austin South. You will greet guests, check them in and out, and assist with pre-registration and reservations, delivering friendly service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

You will post charges, handle cash and card payments, maintain knowledge of rates and discounts, and ensure accurate daily transactions while supporting a collaborative front desk team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in/out, assist with pre-registration and reservations.
• Post charges accurately and promptly.
• Maintain knowledge of Front Office system and daily transactions.
• Process cash, checks and card payments correctly.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts and how to apply them.
• Take same-day reservations quickly and follow cancellation/relocation procedures.
