Job summary

Pilot Company is seeking a customer-focused team member to process merchandise and fuel transactions at our Chicopee location. You will lead shift operations for 1–2 cashiers, handle all payment types, and ensure smooth end-of-shift reporting.

Responsibilities include maintaining an orderly workspace, promoting products, addressing guest concerns, and helping with deli and cleaning tasks. Starting pay ranges from $16.94 to $23.00 per hour with weekly pay and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash, credit and debit transactions.
• Deliver high-quality guest service and resolve issues.
• Lead a shift of 1–2 cashiers and manage break schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift of one-to-two cashiers to process all types of cash, credit, and debit transactions
• Complete end-of-shift reports and close out procedures
• Follow company and local guidelines with regards to the sale of restricted merchandise (alcohol, tobacco)
• Maintain an organized and clean work area
• Use suggested selling methods to promote and sell products
• Ensure quality service is delivered to every guest
• Handle guest complaints and issues per company processes; escalate as needed
• Determine break schedules and team member placement during shift
• Assist with other travel center functions (deli, showers/restrooms, stocking, coffee)
• Model behaviors that support the company’s purpose and ensure guests and team members are supported
• Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
