Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the Manager on Duty functions and manage front desk operations.
• Experience in cash handling, balancing charges and reservations procedures.
• Strong written and spoken English with professional phone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, assign rooms, respect privacy and accommodate requests.
• Promote and sell hotel services and amenities to guests.
• Encourage repeat business by securing future reservations and providing recommendations.
• Identify sales leads from guest interactions and report to management.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments on requests and check-outs.
• Verify credit card validity and learn the PMS for transactions.
• Balance cash, checks, and other charges at end of shifts.
• Maintain lobby, dining area and overall professional appearance.
