Job summary

SPRINGHILL SUITES - LAFAYETTE SOUTH/RIVER RANCH is seeking a courteous front desk associate to deliver excellent guest service, manage check-ins/outs, and execute selling strategies to boost hotel revenue. You will act as Manager on Duty as needed and maintain clear communication with management.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in service, sales, telesales or guest relations preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass appropriate security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, provide room assignments, maintain guest privacy, and accommodate special request when possible.
• Promote and sell services/amenities of the hotel.
• Promote repeat business by offering future reservations and recommendations.
• Be aware of potential sales leads and report information.
• Keep housekeeping and other departments informed of special requests.
• Check all credit cards for validity before end of shift.
• Learn and utilize PMS.
• Ensure all cash, check and miscellaneous departments are in balance at shifts end.
• Assist in other areas: F & B, cleanliness of property wherever assistance is needed for guest satisfaction.
• Help maintain a clean and professional lobby, dining area.
• Have a thorough working knowledge of emergency procedures.
