Residence Inn Lafayette, Louisiana is seeking a Front Desk & Treat Shop Associate to warmly welcome guests and coordinate check-in/out, while supporting in-hotel operations across guest services and Treat Shop areas.

The role requires guest-focused service, strong communication, and reliability with flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training and safety compliance are included.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills (MS Edge, Word, Excel, email, printers/scanners).
• Strong communicator and problem solver.
• Physically able to stand for long periods and perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, build personal connections, and anticipate their needs.
• Manage guest check-in/out, reconcile accounts, and handle cash or card transactions.
• Promote brand loyalty program and follow brand hospitality sales standards.
• Staff and maintain the market area, ensuring stock is organized and shelves are tidy.
• Record guest requests, special needs, early arrivals/late departures, and communicate issues.
• Conduct property walk-arounds, report safety/security issues, and pick up trash or items needing attention.
• Assist with maintenance requests and coordinate with on-property maintenance as needed.
• Complete all required training and compliance tasks, including CPR and TIPS certification.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk, dry storage, and adjacent areas.
• Support smooth communication between all hotel departments.
