Job summary

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Southern California is seeking an Operations Associate, Guest Services to oversee the House during shifts and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for families, guests and volunteers.

The role requires coordinating with hospital staff, maintaining compliance with policies, and supervising volunteers while handling housekeeping and daily operations in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years in same or similar position. Hotel/Hospital experience beneficial.
• General knowledge and demonstrated experience with office management.
• Knowledge of the organizations and operations of administrative programs.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with other management staff, employees, and the general public.
• Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.
• Spanish language skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests per RMHCSC standards.
• Maintain safety and security during shifts.
• Uphold housekeeping standards in guest rooms and common areas.
• Assist volunteers and manage donor interactions.
• Coordinate with hospital staff on room availability and transport.
• Enter data into designated RMHCSC databases.
• Perform duties of manager on duty when scheduled.
• Communicate house activities and changes to staff.
