Viejas Casino & Resort in San Diego, CA is seeking a Host/Cashier II to greet and seat guests, handle cash transactions, balance cash at shift end, and support servers with table maintenance and To-Go orders. You will manage wait lists, provide accurate wait times, and ensure guests enjoy a seamless dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, Food Handler’s Certificate, and alcohol awareness certification within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler’s Certificate required.
• RASS or TIPS alcohol awareness certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests in a professional and courteous manner.
• Answers telephone and handles guest inquiries and messages.
• Manages wait times, monitors waiting list, and assists guests as they wait.
• Operates cash register, gives change, and balances at shift end.
• Assists with To-Go orders and ensures accurate delivery to guests.
• Verifies food tickets and assists servers with drink orders as needed.
• Buses and resets tables and maintains sanitation standards.
• Supports restaurant team and adheres to policies and safety regulations.
