Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, manage efficient check-in/check-out, and handle payments with accuracy. You will also assist with pre-registration, block rooms for special requests, and apply appropriate rates and discounts.

The role requires familiarity with reservations, same-day bookings, and standard cancellation procedures to ensure a smooth guest experience at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience greeting guests and handling check-in/check-out processes.
• Cash handling and basic payment processing experience.
• Knowledge of reservations and rate procedures.
• Ability to take same-day reservations quickly and follow cancellations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and communicate cordially with guests, promptly checking them in and out.
• Post charges accurately and promptly.
• Maintain working knowledge of Front Office system and daily transactions.
• Manage cash receipts, checks, and credit card information securely.
• Review reservations with special requests and block rooms accordingly.
• Know hotel rates, discounts, and how to apply them.
• Understand cancellations and relocation procedures when needed.
