SEARHC in Sitka, AK is seeking a Hospitality Clerk for a full-time front desk role. You will manage check-ins/outs, guest inquiries, and reservations using the property management system, while ensuring a welcoming experience for guests.

Responsibilities include handling payments, providing information on local attractions, coordinating staff travel, and operating hotel shuttle services with after-hours support as needed. Evening/weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or hospitality training preferred.
• Alaska Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Knowledge of local roads, airport procedures, and area attractions preferred.
• Proficiency with computers and reservation systems.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out.
• Manage room reservations, cancellations, and modifications in the property management system.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and courteous manner.
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
• Handle payments, issue room keys, and maintain guest account records.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
• Operate the hotel shuttle safely and assist with airport pickups/drop-offs and luggage.
