Job summary

Countryway Insurance Co. is seeking an Entry Level role at Doswell, Virginia (State Fair of Virginia) to support guests and staff with information and guest experience improvements. You will greet guests, handle phone calls, and perform various administrative duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service or administrative experience. The position may involve travel on site and varied shifts around the State Fair dates in late September to early October

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate individual.
• Perform various administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and photocopying.
• Assist with incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Assist with Lost and Found items and people.
• Maintain a clean and organized front office area.
• Assist with credentials, parking, etc. preparation and distribution.
• Monitor, issue, and receive handheld communication devices.
• At times, travel on the facility grounds to deliver credentials or support setup.
• Provide general support to other departments as needed.
