Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC is seeking a Hotel Desk Clerk to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out efficiently, and provide local information and accommodations. The role emphasizes a guest-centric approach, accuracy in billing, and strong teamwork in a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Standing for long periods, reading small print, grasping and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Organize, confirm, and process guest check-in/check-outs and adapt for any changes, verify guest identity.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests.
• Secure payments, verifying and adjusting billing as needed.
• Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities, and local interests.
• Run daily reports, communicating to the next shift’s staff.
• Complete cashier and closing reports, count the bank securely at shift end.
• Accept and record wake-up calls and relay to the appropriate department.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
