Job summary

Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Standish, MI is seeking a personable Food & Beverage role focused on guest seating and service. Under supervision, you will welcome guests, seat them promptly, and use MICROS to register and close sales while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to operate a POS and handle cash accurately.
• Must have basic math skills and pass a MICROS test with 80% accuracy or better.
• Must obtain and maintain a gaming license as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a timely, professional and courteous manner.
• Use the MICROS system to register and close all sales as appropriate.
• Properly reconcile all financial transactions and liabilities resulting from operations.
• Maintain seating charts, wait lists, and schedule dining reservations.
• Answer basic questions guests may have about menus.
• Read and record totals on POS tape and verify against cash on hand.
• Check identification for credit card payments and SELC complimentary transactions.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary environment and keep stations stocked.
