Job summary

Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mount Pleasant, MI, is seeking an energetic bartender to deliver world-class beverage service in a fast-paced casino environment.

Under the supervision of the SECR Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will prepare, deliver, and refill drink orders, handle cash and POS transactions accurately, and provide outstanding guest service while upholding all alcohol policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of proper service of liquor, beer, and wine.
• Knowledge of bar operations, maintenance, and guest service.
• Knowledge of cash handling.
• Skill with operating computer equipment and POS systems.
• Skill in preparing and serving food and beverages.
• Ability to provide excellent guest service.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions written or verbal.
• Ability to work with the public in a courteous and professional manner.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Check identification of guests to verify age for alcohol.
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Take beverage orders from guests or serving team members.
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Identify products and serves alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages per recipes.
• Set up, stock, clean, maintain, and break down work area.
• Serve food and beverage products professionally.
• Follow cash handling procedures and POS operations accurately.
• Adhere to alcohol policies and provide excellent customer service.
• Complete opening/closing side work and maintain a professional demeanor.
