Job summary

Saganing Food & Beverage is hiring in-house staff to welcome and seat guests, use MICROS for orders, and ensure accurate cash handling. The role emphasizes fast, courteous service and confidentiality in a hospitality setting.

Employees will maintain seating charts, answer phones, and assist in order preparation while upholding Saganing Hospitality Rules and delivering consistent guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to operate a POS.
• Must have basic math skills and pass a written math / MICROS test with 80% accuracy or better.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license to meet the employment eligibility requirements as they pertain to the position.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Use MICROS to register and close all sales; reconcile transactions.
• Maintain seating charts and wait lists; schedule dining reservations.
• Answer questions about menus and describe features of items for which money is received.
• Read and record totals on POS tape and verify against cash on hand.
• Cash out server tickets and check identifications for card payments.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment; keep stations stocked and balanced at shift end.
• Assist with assembly and preparation of guest orders; answer phones with information.
• Provide excellent customer service; uphold hospitality rules and professional demeanor.
• Duties may change based on organizational needs.
