Job summary

Northern Waters Casino Resort in Michigan is seeking a cashier to provide friendly, efficient service in the assigned cashier area and handle transactions with accuracy. You will respond to guest questions, follow all policies, and support daily casino operations while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing credit card transactions, verifying customer age for alcohol or tobacco, stocking shelves, and attending required

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical aptitude required.
• Must pass background checks and other pre-employment screenings for Gaming License.
• Able to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in a smoking environment.
• Sedentary work with standing required.
• Occasional lifting up to 5 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and run credit card transactions.
• Provide excellent service to guests through positive engagement and attitude.
• Ensure accuracy of money in and money out of cash bank.
• Verify customer age for alcohol or cigarettes.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings for regulatory compliance.
• Flexibly work in any assigned area and support management.
