Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Bellperson to assist guests with luggage on arrival and departure and to ensure a pleasant stay through attentive service. You will escort guests to rooms, explain hotel amenities, and help with room changes while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include handling luggage, delivering messages, and staying informed about local attractions. This role requires physical stamina and strong communication skills, with duties aligned to guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license may be required in some states.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage and escort them to rooms.
• Explain hotel features and operation of devices to guests.
• Deliver messages, packages, and other items to guest rooms.
• Inspect rooms for readiness and assist with room changes.
• Maintain knowledge of local attractions and transportation options.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
