Job summary

The Bellperson at Highgate is responsible for assisting guests with luggage on arrival and departure and attending to guests' needs during their stay with attentive, courteous service.

This role requires a High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver's license if applicable, the ability to stand for long periods, and effective communication in English, both verbal and written. Training and integration into a hospitality team at a luxury property are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage carts.
• Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services.
• Explain features of the room including operation of electronic devices and entertainment.
• Deliver messages to meeting rooms.
• Show guestrooms and suites as needed and emphasize the hotel’s amenities.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
