Job summary

The Bellperson at Graduate Providence, part of Highgate Hotels, helps guests with luggage and provides attentive service to ensure a smooth, welcoming stay. Responsibilities include unloading luggage, escorting guests to rooms, assisting with room changes, and offering local information and directions.

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or hotel experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and stand for long periods.
• Effective verbal and written communication; good listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage on arrival and departure.
• Escort guests to rooms and familiarize them with hotel services.
• Inspect rooms to ensure order and sufficient supplies.
• Check/store luggage and deliver packages as needed.
• Provide information, maps and directions to guests.
