Job summary

Stonebridge in Saddle Brook, NJ is seeking a friendly Bell Attendant to welcome guests, assist with luggage, and help ensure a smooth arrival and departure.

In this full-time on-site role at the Marriott Saddle Brook, you will transport luggage, share local information, arrange transportation, and support guest requests while upholding service standards. This position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior guest service or hospitality experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with guests.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Knowledge of local attractions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests on arrival and departure, assisting with luggage and providing a warm welcome.
• Transport luggage to/from rooms safely and efficiently.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Arrange taxis or shuttle services and assist with transportation needs.
• Keep bell stand and lobby clean and presentable at all times.
• Deliver packages and messages to rooms or other areas as needed.
• Assist with check-in/check-out processes when necessary.
• Store and retrieve guest luggage in designated areas.
• Support with special requests such as room service orders or restaurant reservations.
• Monitor lobby for guest needs and offer proactive assistance.
• Maintain knowledge of security protocols and report suspicious activity.
• Uphold high guest service standards to ensure a memorable experience.
