The Museum of Discovery and Science in Fort Lauderdale is seeking friendly team players to join as IMAX Usher, Box Office Cashier or Sales Associate. You will help guests enjoy the IMAX experience and interact at the café or Explore Store, delivering high-quality customer service.

Applicants should have prior customer service and sales experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Availability for days, evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Summary

Will work as an IMAX Usher, Box Office Cashier or Sales Associate in the Café or Explore Store. Deliver the best IMAX and museum experience to guests. Perform assigned job duties at the highest level of efficiency to ensure that the ticket office is operating at its optimum. Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, professional attitude.

Maintain a working knowledge of the Museum of Discovery and Science and the AutoNation IMAX Theater including current films, programs and exhibits.

Qualifications

Previous customer service and sales experience. Good communications skills. Ability to be friendly, helpful, and kind. Must be able to work under pressure in constantly changing conditions. Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Wage starts at $15.00/ Hour
